Abstract:
A battery pack connection detection apparatus and an electric vehicle. The battery pack connection detection apparatus comprises a battery management system (101) and a switching module (102). The battery management system (101) comprises a communication port (1011); a first power source signal (V1) is used for maintaining a level state of the communication port (1011) at a first state; the switching module (102) is used for being connected to the communication port (1011) when a battery pack (1) is connected to a device (2) to be powered, and is further used for switching the level state of the communication port (1011) from the first state to a second state; the battery management system (101) is used for determining, when the level state of the communication port (1011) is switched from the first state to the second state, that the battery pack (1) has been connected to said device (2), and controlling the battery pack (1) to supply power to a controller (20) of said device, such that the controller (20) of said device outputs an electrical signal; and the switching module (102) is used for being disconnected from the communication port (1011) upon receiving the electrical signal, such that the battery management system (101) communicates with the controller (20) of said device via the communication port (1011).
