Abstract:
A bead external appearance inspection device comprising: an input unit for inputting input data pertaining to a weld bead of a workpiece manufactured by welding; a preprocessing unit for carrying out preprocessing on the input data to convert the shape of a weld bead to a prescribed shape; and k (k being an integer of 1 or greater) inspection/determination units, which are equipped with k types of artificial intelligence, and which carry out an inspection/determination regarding the existence of a welding defect in a weld bead on the basis of processing performed by the k types of artificial intelligence on the preprocessed input data.
