Abstract:
A beam controlling method, comprising: controlling an accelerator to deliver a calibration beam at predetermined calibration power to a predetermined location, the predetermined location being the center of a target cross section to be irradiated; acquiring an incident angle of the calibration beam and determining whether the calibration beam is perpendicular to the target cross section; if not, then correcting the incident angle so that the incident angle is perpendicular to the target cross section and acquiring a calibration position of the corrected calibration beam; and controlling the accelerator to deliver a therapeutic beam at predetermined therapeutic power and scanning the therapeutic beam from the calibration position, the predetermined therapeutic power being greater than the predetermined calibration power, and the sum of a calibration beam dose and a therapeutic beam dose being equal to a total dose of a radiotherapy plan.
