Abstract:
The inventive beam expanding device comprises a planar optical waveguide (2) and a ribbon waveguide (3) provided with a set of hertz antennas (4) which closes the aperture thereof. Said ribbon waveguide (3) is arranged on the plane of the planar optical waveguide (2) directly therein or thereby in such a way that it allows the beams (6') reflected from the hertz antennas (4) to be transferred to the planar waveguide (2). A tilt angle and the position of the hertz antennas (4) are selected in such a way that a phase difference for an operating emission wavelength of any couple of beams (6') reflected from the hertz antennas (4) is divisible by 2$g(p).
