Abstract:
A beam-molded article comprising a hat-shaped thermoplastic resin molded article, a cross section of said hat-shaped thermoplastic resin molded article being provided with flanges on both sides of the bottom, and a sheet-like fiber-reinforced resin molded body that is bonded to the hat-shaped thermoplastic resin molded article, wherein the sheet-like fiber-reinforced resin molded body is bonded to the whole or part of the top and bottom surfaces of the hat shape of the thermoplastic resin molded article while the side surface of the hat shape is allowed to remain as a non-bonded surface; and a bumper reinforce using the beam-molded article. According to the present invention, a thermoplastic resin molded article can be efficiently reinforced using only a small amount of a sheet-like fiber-reinforced resin molded body and the impact energy absorption performance of a beam-molded article can be economically and efficiently improved.
