Abstract:
Provided by the present application are a method and device for beamforming training, the method comprising: an initiating device transmitting first indication information, the first indication information being used to indicate resources corresponding to each transmitting beam in a plurality of transmitting beams of the initiating device, the resources comprising time-domain resources and/or frequency-domain resources; the initiating device transmitting a reference signal by means of each transmitting beam; and the initiating device detecting feedback information transmitted by a response device on the resources corresponding to each transmitting beam, the feedback information being determined by the response device according to the reference signal transmitted by each transmitting beam. In the embodiments of the present application, the initiating device employing a high gain receiving beam to detect the feedback information transmitted by the response device can compensate for the uplink transmission power of the response device being insufficient, and thus the initiating device may receive the feedback information transmitted by the response device. Therefore, the embodiments of the present application may solve the problem of insufficient uplink coverage in existing technology, and thereby improve the performance of beamforming training.
