Abstract:
Provided are a bend-resistant artificial blood vessel and method for fabrication thereof; the artificial blood vessel comprises a three-layer structure; the inner layer is an electrostatically spun fiber membrane; the outer layer is an irregular electrostatically spun fiber membrane; the middle layer is an anti-blood-permeation dense layer; the anti-blood-permeation dense layer comprises a first dense layer and a second dense layer; a spring-shaped helical ring sleeve structure of polymeric material is disposed between the first dense layer and the second dense layer; the combination of the two dense layers and the helical ring sleeve structure can effectively improve the bending resistance of the artificial blood vessel.
