Abstract:
The present invention relates to a benzodithienothiophene derivative and an organic solar cell using the same. The benzodithienothiophene derivative of the present invention is a compound that has a benzodithienothiophene, which is an electron donor within a molecule, and at the same time has an alkyl group, which is an electron acceptor, and has high solubility. The organic solar cell using the same as an active layer material has excellent oxidation stability and a high open circuit voltage value and current density.
