Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a binder composition which is for use in a secondary battery electrode, has high binding properties, and is capable of suppressing corrosion of a current collector and an increase in internal resistance when used in the production of a secondary battery. This binder composition for use in a secondary battery electrode contains a copolymer and a dispersion medium, and is characterized in that the copolymer content of a structural unit represented by formula (I) is 5-80 mass%, inclusive, and the copolymer content of a structural unit represented by formula (II) is 5-90 mass%, inclusive.
