Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a bladder catheter which does not damage the lining of a bladder when inserted into the bladder. [Solution] According to the present invention, a wire 7 coated with a polymer material is inserted through the inside of a shaft 3, so that a catheter can be bent at an arbitrary angle and the bent structure can be maintained. When the catheter is inserted into a bladder 12 through an abdominal hole 11 while forming a bent section 6 to have almost a right angle, it is less likely for the portion of a side hole 1 to contact a bladder lining 13, and it is thus less likely for the bladder lining 13 to be damaged. In addition, it is less likely for the catheter to fall out.
