Abstract:
Provided are a brace device and an earth-retaining falsework which can ensure a wide work space by lengthening the buckling length of a brace, and to which a typically used angle brace can be attached, in a similar manner as with a conventional (H-beam) brace. Provided are a plurality of walings (2) installed on the inner surface of an earth-retaining wall (1), and a brace (3) provided so as to cross between opposing walings (2, 2). The brace (3) is configured so that end plates (3b) having a plurality of bolt holes (3c) are attached as joints to both ends of a brace main body (3a) formed of a square steel pipe. A length adjusting member (6) and a hydraulic jack (7) are attached to one end of the brace main body (3a). The length adjusting member (6) is provided with a flange that serves as a joint for joining the end of an angle brace (4).
