Title:
BRANCHED-CHAIN AMINO ACID-CONTAINING JELLY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/099082
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention addresses the problem of providing a jelly containing three types of branched-chain amino acids comprising isoleucine, leucine, and valine, which reduces a dose, has favorable flavor, is easy to swallow, has high stability, and does not cause browning even when a heating treatment is performed. The jelly containing a gelling agent and three types of branched-chain amino acids comprising isoleucine, leucine, and valine, characterized in that (1) the pH of the jelly is higher than 3.6, (2) a heating treatment is performed after blending the three types of branched-chain amino acids and the gelling agent, and (3) a dose of the three types of branched-chain amino acids are packed and sealed in a container.
