Abstract:
A brightening pigment having a gold tone which comprises a flaky glass base (10), a primer coating (20) comprising at least one metallic material selected from the group consisting of silver, nickel, and nickel alloys, a gold coating (30) comprising gold, and a yellow coating (40) comprising a yellow colorant and a matrix. The primer coating (20), gold coating (30), and yellow coating (40) each is a layer which covers the flaky glass base (10). Among the primer coating (20), gold coating (30), and yellow coating (40), the primer coating (20) is disposed innermost.
