Abstract:

In order to receive a digital TV broadcast by a mobile terminal, synchronization with a broadcast station is obtained by using a system clock in the mobile terminal without adding a VCO of 27 MHz or the like. The audio reproduction time is intentionally adjusted to eliminate a difference between a reproduction STC value as a system time reference value for reproduction calculated from the received PCR value and the terminal system clock and an Audio PTS value audio reproduction presentation time information for synchronization, thereby obtaining synchronization between the mobile terminal device and the broadcast station. Instead of increasing or decreasing the number of PCM data outputted to Audio-DAC, the timing for sending the PCM data to the Audio-DAC is adjusted for the sampling frequency of the PCM data to be reproduced. It is possible to delay or hasten the PCM data reproduction time for each constant number of samples. That is, it is possible to adjust the audio reproduction time without increasing or decreasing the number of PCM data, thereby performing audio reproduction with suppressed distortion.
