Abstract:
A lower jig (20) in contact with the lower surface of a flat cable (140) comprises: a plurality of wire underside support grooves (21) into which the underside of each coated wire (141) fits; and a plurality of bridge molding grooves (22) configured to extend between the adjacent wire underside support grooves (21). An upper jig (30) in contact with the top side of the flat cable (140) comprises: a plurality of wire top side support grooves (31) into which the top side of each coated wire (141) fits; and a plurality of molding ridges (32) configured to extend between the adjacent wire top side support grooves (31) for forming a flexible portion (143) in a bridge portion (142) with a cross-sectional shape along the bridge molding grooves (22).
