Abstract:
The present invention relates to a can compressor and a method for forming compressed can blocks. The present invention can minimize the volume of cans by primarily compressing an aluminum can and compressing the compressed can once again to form a block therewith, thereby making it easy to collect and convey the cans and decreasing the conveying cost. In addition, it is possible to automatically perform the entire process of primary compression and secondary compression and efficiently perform separation and discharging even when an iron can or a non-compressible glass bottle or a PET bottle is inserted therein. Therefore, malfunction or failure of the can compressor can be prevented in advance.
