Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cap assembly for a secondary battery and a secondary battery including the same. Specifically, in the cap assembly, a CID filter is fixed such that, even when gas is discharged due to the rupturing of a safety vent, the CID short-circuit pressure is not affected by the CID filter.
