Abstract:
Provided are: a carbazole derivative represented by formula (1), which is a novel material useful as a material for an organic electroluminescent element, and in which each of at least two specific structural groups typified by carbazole are bound to any one of position-2, position-3 and position-4 in the carbazole derivative; a material for an organic electroluminescent element, which comprises the carbazole derivative; and an organic electroluminescent element and an electronic device, each of which is manufactured using the carbazole derivative.
