Abstract:
Disclosed are a cell selection method and apparatus, and a terminal and a storage medium, which relate to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: after a first cell or a first frequency point that supports a target slice is determined, executing a connection process for the first cell or a cell corresponding to the first frequency point. By means of the technical solution provided in the embodiments of the present application, during the process of executing cell switching, a terminal takes, as a priority condition for cell selection, whether to support a target slice, to perform one time switching in place, such that signaling overheads are saved on and a business service delay is shortened as compared with the situation that after a terminal device accesses an inappropriate cell, cell selection and switching need to re-performed.
