Abstract:
Provided is a centrifugal barrel polishing device which enables safer and more efficient work of a worker. A centrifugal barrel device (1) is provided with, as a drive mechanism for rotationally driving a turret (14), a polishing machine motor (20) and a low-speed motor (21) provided with a brake. Dogs (40a-40d) which rotate together with the turret (14) and can be detected by a proximity switch (41) are provided at the outer peripheral end close to respective barrel tanks (11a-11d) of the turret (14). The dogs (40a-40d) are provided such that when a dog faces the proximity switch (41) and the proximity switch (41) is on, the barrel tanks (11a-11d) are located at positions which enable work from a sliding door (30). In a pitch feed operation of the turret (14), the turret (14) is rotated by the low-speed motor (21), and when any of the dogs (40a-40d) is detected by the proximity switch (41), a control unit (51) stops the low-speed motor (21) by the brake.
