Abstract:
The present application relates to a channel monitoring method and apparatus, a computer device and a storage medium. The method comprises: a UE receiving network configuration information sent by a base station, wherein the network configuration information at least comprises a duration of a random access contention resolution timer; and the UE determining a starting offset moment of the random access contention resolution timer, and monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from the start of a first time symbol after arriving at the starting offset moment, wherein the longest period of time for monitoring the PDCCH is the duration of the random access contention resolution timer. A UE that is far away from the base station can still receive random access contention resolution during the running of the random access contention resolution timer, and the problem of invalid monitoring resulting from the UE prematurely starting the random access contention resolution timer due to an excessively large RTT can also be avoided, and the loss of a terminal is thus reduced.
