Abstract:

It is possible to improve visibility of a character or a graphic without modifying the layout of the character or the graphic. A character graphic display device includes a display device including a display area for displaying a plurality of characters or graphics and a control section for controlling the display device. The display area includes a plurality of virtual areas (430a, 430b, 431a, 431b). The control section modifies the size (x, y) of each of the characters or the graphics while maintaining the size (X, Y) of each of the virtual areas and controls the display device so as to display each of the characters or graphics having the modified size in each of the virtual areas.
