Title:
CHARACTERISTIC MEASURING DEVICE FOR SOLAR CELL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/070952
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a solar cell characteristic measuring device capable of measuring the output characteristics of a solar cell precisely while avoiding the influences of the junction capacitance of the solar cell.  The solar cell characteristic measuring device comprises a solar cell load circuit constituted by connecting the solar cell with an electronic load device capable of setting a load current or a load voltage variably, and a measurement circuit constituted by connecting a voltage detector and a current detector with the load circuit.  The solar cell characteristic measuring device further comprises an operation point control means for dividing the magnitude of the load, which is taken from the solar cell, of the electronic load device into a plurality within the range from the state to open the solar cell to the state to short-circuit same, while driving the electronic load device in the load circuit periodically and intermittently, thereby to change the load magnitude stepwise and to control the operation point of the solar cell, and a processing means for reading and processing the detected values of the voltage detector and the current detector of the measurement circuit at each drive period of the electronic load device and for the period of the stable output voltage of the solar cell.
