Abstract:
Provided is a charging apparatus with which it is possible to minimize the progression of ion migration at a receptacle of the charging apparatus. This charging apparatus (10) is provided with: a receptacle (15) including a plurality of terminals; a power supply (38) for supplying voltage or current to a CC terminal; a first voltage detection unit (36) for detecting a voltage at the CC terminal; a second voltage detection unit (31) for detecting a voltage at a peripheral terminal which is one, two, or three terminals away from the CC terminal; and a control unit (30) which determines, during a period when the voltage of the CC terminal is not less than a first threshold, whether or not the voltage of the peripheral terminal is not less than a second threshold, and which, in the case when the voltage of the peripheral terminal is not less than the second threshold, cuts the voltage or current being supplied to the CC terminal from the power supply.
