Abstract:
An on-chip filter inverse design method based on spatial mapping of an equivalent circuit, which belongs to the field of radio frequency integrated circuits. By means of the method, on the basis of an equivalent circuit model, a nonlinear relationship between performance parameters and structural parameters of a CMOS millimeter-wave filter is divided into two parts: mapping from the performance parameters to equivalent circuit element values is realized by means of an odd and even mode theory, and the process is focused on theoretical derivation and is performed by means of circuit assisted tuning; and an artificial neural network (ANN) model is established, wherein input vectors are the equivalent circuit element values, and output vectors are the structural parameters. In the design of the method, by means of spatial mapping, the defect of performing discretized sampling on scattering parameters in a traditional modeling design method is avoided; and in comparison with forward optimization, the time required for the design can be significantly shortened. The method provides a new method for intelligent design of a CMOS millimeter-wave on-chip passive device, and has great application value in the design optimization of a millimeter-wave circuit for 5G communication.
