Abstract:
Provided are a cleaning system capable of improving work efficiency and a cleaning method. This cleaning system is provided with: a first reader device for collectively reading UHF band RFID tagged ID information assigned to a plurality of cleaned articles; a database for storing receipt information in which the ID information and customer information are associated; a washing device; a second reader device for separately reading ID information of RFID tags of a plurality of cleaned articles; and a sorting device for sorting the cleaned articles on the basis of sortation information generated on the basis of the ID information read by the second reader device and the receipt information. The sorting device produces additional information relating to cleaned articles without customer information for the sortation information, updates the sortation information on the basis of the additional information, and sorts cleaned articles stored in a storage part on the basis of the updated sortation information.
