Abstract:
Provided is a clear coating composition that has excellent coating workability despite a high solids content and that obtains a coating film having excellent color reversion resistance. A clear coating composition containing a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A), a polyisocyanate compound (B), and an organic solvent (C), in which the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A) contains a primary hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A1) and a secondary hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A2), the primary hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A1) has a weight average molecular weight of 6,000 or less, the secondary hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (A2) has a weight average molecular weight of 6,000 or more, the organic solvent (C) contains a specific primary alcohol and/or secondary alcohol, and the solids concentration during coating is 55 mass% or more.
