Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent the occurrence of a short defect through a magnetic layer. [Solution] A coil component 1 is provided with interlayer insulating films 90 to 98 and conductor layers L1 to L8 that are alternately stacked on a magnetic layer M1. The conductor layers L1 to L8 respectively include coil patterns, terminal patterns 11, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81 provided in positions overlapping a terminal electrode E1, and terminal patterns 13, 23, 33, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83 provided in positions overlapping a terminal electrode E3. The terminal patterns 11, 21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81 and the terminal electrode E1 are connected to each other. The terminal patterns 23, 33, 43, 53, 63, 73, 83 and the terminal electrode E3 are connected to each other. The terminal pattern 13 is insulated from the terminal electrode E3. This prevents a short defect between the coil pattern 10 or the terminal pattern 11 and the terminal pattern 13 through the magnetic layer M1.
