Abstract:
A communication apparatus and a radio-over-fiber transmission system. An electro-optical modulation module is used for modulating an RF signal to a plurality of optical signals, the plurality of optical signals, which are obtained after modulation, are transmitted via an optical fiber, and finally, at an output end for optical fiber transmission, a photoelectric demodulation module is used for demodulating the RF signal, which is modulated on the plurality of optical signals. Thus, the spectrum of optical signals input into the optical fiber is broadened, and the energy density of the optical signals input into the optical fiber is reduced, thereby increasing the power of optical signals incident to the optical fiber, and improving the performance and transmission efficiency of the radio-over-fiber transmission system.
