Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of communications, and relates to a communication method and apparatus, capable of solving the problem, in the prior art, of data transmission interruption between a wireless backhaul device and a terminal side device caused by the fact that the wireless backhaul device cannot switch a serving base station. The method of the present application comprises: a wireless backhaul device receives a message, sent by a first network device, for instructing the wireless backhaul device to switch to a second network device; then, in the process of switching to the second network device or when the switching to the second network device is completed, the wireless backhaul device sends a message carrying resource information of a first link to the second network device. The present application is applicable to a switching process of a wireless backhaul device.
