Abstract:

A communication method and apparatus, which are used to select a suitable adapter for an ONAP to adapt to a 3GPP configuration management function. The method comprises: an adapter client acquiring a southbound interface protocol type, and selecting, according to the southbound interface protocol type, a first protocol adapter from two or more protocol adapters, wherein the first protocol adapter is used to realize a first protocol, and the adapter client is used for managing two or more protocol adapters. Therefore, when an interface adapter that adapts to a 3GPP configuration management protocol is added to a southbound interface of an ONAP, a suitable adapter can be flexibly selected by means of the adapter client, thereby realizing docking between the ONAP and 3GPP service management.
