Abstract:
Unicast data is transmitted by a multicast channel so as to improve the transmission efficiency (throughput) of a mobile station device at the cell edge. When a subframe allocated by the multicast channel has an empty resource, base station devices (112a, 112b) make a request to an MBMS control device (111) to transmit the unicast data by the subframe into which the multicast channel is allocated. The MBMS control station device (111) allocates unicast data to the subframe into which the multicast channel is allocated and transmits information indicating the allocation to the base station devices (112a, 112b). The base station devices (112a, 112b) transmit the unicast data to a mobile station device (113) by using the subframe allocated by the multicast channel according to the aforementioned information.
