Abstract:
A communication system (1) according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with a receiver (2), and a transmitting device (3) which communicates with the receiver (2), wherein the transmitting device (3) includes: a data processing unit (4) which encapsulates communication data pertaining to communication if the communication data are unicast data, and does not encapsulate the communication data if the communication data are multicast data and/or broadcast data; and a transmitting unit (5) which transmits the communication data that have been encapsulated by the data processing unit (4) to the receiver (2). This makes it possible to provide a communication system which suppresses an increase in a communication load.
