Abstract:
[Problem] To assist improvement of quality of information transmission between users that speak different languages. [Solution] This communication system: broadcasts user speech audio to mobile communications terminals of other users via mobile communications terminals carried by each of a plurality of users; and synchronizes the speech audio recognition results for the received speech audio data in each mobile communications terminal, and delivers the results by text so as to be displayed on each mobile communications terminal. The communication system holds language settings information separately for each user and generates translated texts that are translations of the speech audio recognition results in different languages. During broadcasting of the speech audio data, the received speech audio data is broadcast to the plurality of other mobile communications terminals without being translated. During text delivery, translated text in the relevant language is delivered to each mobile communications terminal on the basis of the language settings information for each user.
