Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a composite current collector and foil connecting device and a connecting method therefor. The connecting device comprises a foil unwinding roller, a composite current collector unwinding roller, a coating component, a folding component, a material-pressing component, and a material-receiving component, wherein the folding component, the material-pressing component and the material-receiving component are sequentially arranged; the coating component comprises a feeding pipe, a material return pipe, a material box and a gravure roller, both the feeding pipe and the material return pipe being connected to the material box, and the gravure roller being arranged at a discharging opening of the material box; foil on the foil unwinding roller sequentially passes through the coating component and the folding component; a composite current collector on the composite current collector unwinding roller enters the folding component; and the folding component is configured to fold the foil and the composite current collector and guide same into the material-pressing component for drying and rolling. The described composite current collector and foil connecting device can improve the overcurrent capacity of a current from a battery cell to an electrode terminal, solve the problem whereby a polymer layer cannot be overcurrent, reduce the resistance, improve a bonding force, increase the mechanical strength of materials, and improve the safety in the use of a battery.
