Abstract:
The present invention provides a water-soluble film coating composition for protecting disinfectant tablets vulnerable to moisture. This film is coated for the purpose of blocking moisture, normally, in tablets but allowing materials inside the tablets to be easily exposed since the film quickly dissolves when exposed to water. The film coating can be directly applied after preparing tablets or can be applied to tableting after coating the film on a substrate in a powder state. The moisture-blocking film coating simultaneously comprises a polyvinyl alcohol and cellulose as a mixture of polymers having various molecular weights, and a plasticizer.
