A compound group display for displaying first characteristics and second characteristics of a plurality of compounds efficiently in association with each other in which even four or more characteristics can be handled simultaneously as the first characteristics. The compound group display (1) comprises a hierarchically classifying section (13) for classifying compounds into a plurality of hierarchic clusters based on first characteristics data, a compound arranging section (14) for determining arrangement of compounds in a two-dimensional plane such that a recurrent nest structure is attained based on the hierarchic clusters thus classified, an image data creating section (15) for creating image data where a compound is described in the arrangement thus determined with a color based on second characteristics data, and a display section (16) for displaying an image based on the image data thus created.
