Abstract:
A compressive sensing image sensor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pixel array comprising multiple pixels; and a readout circuit for receiving, from the multiple pixels, analog pixel data of a captured image, and processing the same, wherein the pixel array includes multiple blocks arranged in an array configuration, each of the blocks having multiple pixels, and the readout circuit comprises: a compressive sensing multiplexer to which multiple pixel data output from a corresponding block among the multiple blocks are input; an LFSR for randomly selecting at least one pixel data from the multiple pixel data input to the compressive sensing multiplexer; and a delta-sigma ADC which receives the at least one pixel data selected by the LFSR and performs delta-sigma modulation of the received at least one pixel data, so as to generate compressive sensing data for reconstructing an image in the corresponding block from the captured image.
