Abstract:
Provided is a computer system which includes a plurality of elements which are to be controlled. The computer system comprises a computer and a control unit which controls the plurality of elements. The computer further comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires, from a plurality of groups which is controlled on the basis of partial objective functions for optimizing operating states of groups which include at least one element, operating information which indicates the operating states of each of the plurality of groups; an overall objective function generating unit which generates an overall objective function for optimizing the computer system overall on the basis of the operating information; and a partial objective function generating unit which generates prescribed partial objective functions from the overall objective function. On the basis of the partial objective functions, the control unit controls the plurality of elements which is included in the plurality of groups.
