Abstract:
According to the present invention, an edge node performs either a data transfer process alone or both the data transfer process and a recall process. The recall process is a process that is performed on at least one incomplete file and that acquires existing data from a center namespace. The data transfer process is a process for transferring, to the center node, transfer data that is created using the existing data and write data. The incomplete file is an old file that lacks data, or an updated file that lacks data. The old file is a file to which an intended update has not yet been applied. The updated file is a file obtained by applying the update to the old file using the write data. The existing data is the old file (or at least part of insufficient data). The insufficient data is the difference between the old file and the write data. The edge node performs an ensuring process to ensure either second consistency alone, which is consistency of a file that is undergoing the data transfer process, or both the second consistency and first consistency, which is consistency of a file that is undergoing the recall process.
