Abstract:
A connector 10 according to the present disclosure, which is connected to an object 50 for connection, comprises: an insulator 20 which includes a first recess portion 27 recessed in an inner surface of a side wall 22b of an outer peripheral wall 22, and which mates with the object 50 for connection; and a plurality of first contacts 30 which each include a contact portion 32c positioned on the inner side of the side wall 22b. The first contacts 30 are integrally formed with the side wall 22b. The contact portion 32c is disposed in the first recess portion 27. The insulator 20 is cut out on the side on which the plurality of first contacts 30 are arrayed with respect to the contact portion 32c, so that the insulator 20 can elastically deform integrally with the side wall 22b during mating.
