Abstract:
A video recording/reproducing apparatus can support, based on viewer support information provided by others, viewing/reproducing of recorded video contents. The viewer support information includes channel information for determining broadcast programs, comments about particular scenes in the programs, and times at which those scenes are broadcasted. On the side of the user receiving the viewer support information, the scenes corresponding to comments in which he is interested can be automatically retrieved on the basis of their broadcast times.
