Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of electrical equipment. Specifically provided are a control method for an air conditioner, and an air conditioner. An indoor unit of the air conditioner comprises: a shell, a fan, and a sterilization apparatus, which is mounted on the shell and is arranged close to an air outlet, wherein the sterilization apparatus can spray a sterilizing agent in the form of a mist. The control method comprises: running a fan and a sterilization apparatus, so as to sterilize a room; and after the running time of the sterilization apparatus reaches a first pre-set time, stopping running the fan and the sterilization apparatus, and running a floor sweeping robot, so as to sweep the room. A sterilization apparatus can spray a sterilizing agent in the form of a mist, and after a fan of an indoor unit starts, the sterilizing agent in the form of a mist can flow to various positions of a room along with air blown from an air outlet, so as to sterilize the room; in addition, the room is sterilized first, and then a floor sweeping robot is used to sweep the room, such that the residue of the sterilizing agent on the floor of the room can be prevented, and the time of the whole process (sterilization + cleaning) can also be reduced, thereby improving the efficiency.
