Abstract:
The conveyance system is provided with: a robot (101) which has a first arm (13A) having a pair of first holding parts (80A, 80A) and a second arm (13B) having a pair of second holding parts (80B, 80B); a packaging bag supply device (104); and a control device (14). Suction parts (90A) are disposed on inner surfaces of the first holding parts (80A, 80A). The control device (14) causes the packaging bag supply device (104) to supply a packaging bag (103) while opening an opening part (103a), and subsequently causes the first arm (13A) to operate in such a manner that the inner surfaces of the pair of first holding parts (80A, 80A) respectively come into contact with outer surfaces of the packaging bag (103), and the outer surfaces are sucked by the suction parts (90A) such that the distance between the inner surfaces of the pair of first holding parts (80A, 80A) is greater than the length of a food item (102).
