Abstract:
Provide are a novel water-soluble copolymer with high conductivity, a solution thereof and a use thereof. A copolymer is used which includes a repeating unit (a "thiophene monomer") represented by formula (M1) and at least one repeating unit (a "comonomer") selected from formulas (M2), (M3), and (M4), wherein the thiophene monomer and comonomer may be self-doped, and the thiophene monomer/comonomer ratio (mol/mol) is 3 to 9999. [In the formulas, R may be the same or different for each repeating unit, and is a chain or branched alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a fluorine atom. M may be different for each repeating unit, and is an alkali metal ion selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen ion, Li ion, Na ion, and K ion, or a conjugate acid of an amine compound.]
