Abstract:
The invention relates to a novel coupling agent for transversal ultrasonic waves. The coupling agent is composed of a homogenized mixture of a surface-active substance, of a polysaccharide and of water and has a creamy consistency. The agent can be produced in a reproducible manner, has an agreeable consistency and optical appearance and can be easily removed from test specimens.
