Abstract:
Provided is a covering-member attachment structure that serves to reduce the number of parts and the assembly man-hours, and at the same time enables improvement of aesthetic appearance. The present invention comprises: a covered member that has an opening and that on the peripheral rim of the opening is provided with an interlocked flange jutting out by a prescribed width in the interlock direction in which the member is interlocked; and a covering member that is provided with a lid part which covers the opening of the covered member, and an interlocking flange provided on the outer peripheral rim of the lid part and overlapping the interlocked flange from the outer side. The interlocking flange is provided with an engagement claw that extends along a direction intersecting the interlock direction and that when the interlocking flange and the interlocked flange are overlapping is able to jut toward the inner side of the interlocked flange. The interlocked flange is provided with an insertion opening through which the engagement claw can be inserted along the interlock direction, and an engagement groove that is continuous with the insertion opening and that extends along the intersecting direction which intersects the interlock direction. The engagement claw is inserted into the engagement groove as a result of the interlocked flange and the covering member, which are overlapping, being shifted in the intersecting direction relative to the interlock direction.
