Abstract:
This crossed roller bearing comprises: an outer ring that has, in the inner circumference thereof, a pair of outer ring raceway surfaces that are perpendicular to one another; an inner ring that has the same center axis as the outer ring, and has, in the outer circumference thereof, a pair of inner ring raceway surfaces that are perpendicular to one another; and a plurality of rollers that are positioned between the outer ring raceway surfaces and the inner ring raceway surfaces, with the tilt directions thereof alternating in a circumferential direction. The rollers each include a first section, a second section, and a third section. The first section has a hollow circular cylinder shape extending in an axial direction, and includes a first end in the axial direction and a second end which is a section on the opposite side from the first end in the axial direction. The second section is continuous with the first end and has a surface that is perpendicular to the axial direction. The third section is continuous with the second end and has a surface that is perpendicular to the axial direction. The second section closes the first end of the first section. The third section includes a protrusion that protrudes radially inward relative to the first section.
