Abstract:
This cutting tool (1) is provided with a cutting blade member (3). The cutting blade member (3) forms a corner section (2). The cutting blade member (3) is provided with: a cutting blade (7) formed at the intersection of a rake face (8) and a relief face (9); at least two breaker wall faces (5), and at least one protrusion (6). The cutting blade (7) includes a first cutting blade (7b) and a second cutting blade (7a) connecting to the first cutting blade. The second cutting blade (7a) is positioned at the corner section (2). Each breaker wall face (5) is formed in a manner so as to extend along the cutting blade. The protrusion (6) is formed in a manner so as to be relatively protruding towards the cutting blade side between two mutually separated breaker wall faces (5). A portion of the protrusion (6) is positioned near the connection section between the first cutting blade and the second cutting blade.
