The present invention relates to an efficient device searching system and to a method for a cyber-physical system, and more particularly, to a system which transmits a search message to another control and management device in a local network through a supervisory control and management device so as to efficiently search for a device. The system comprises: at least one control and management device which exists in a local network, registers a control device that accesses the local network, stores information on the registered control device, and transmits a search result message on the registered control device to a control device that has transmitted a search request signal upon receiving the search request signal on the registered control device; and the control device which is registered in the control and management device, transmits the search request message on the device registered in the control and management device, and receives a response message to the search message from the control and management device.
